ANTI:DOTE at Fairmont Hotel Showcases Piet Mondrian-Inspired "Rhapsody of Modernism," a Location-Based Experience
November 2023

At ARTiSTORY, we've introduced several art licensing programs with various consumer brands, retailers and hotels, showcasing Piet Mondrian's work, providing a fresh and creative way for a global audience to immerse themselves in his art.

One recent example is the Piet Mondrian-inspired Afternoon Tea at ANTI:DOTE, Fairmont Hotel Singapore.

In its culminating event of a series of art-inspired afternoon tea experiences, ANTI:DOTE was inspired by Piet Mondrian's work. This is the fourth in the series following previous successful events inspired by the great impressionists Vincent van Gogh and Claude Monet, as well as Japan’s Katsushika Hokusai.

Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

Launched in October 2023, the afternoon tea took inspiration from one of ARTiSTORY's themes Rhapsody of Modernism, which taps into Mondrian's iconic “Composition with Blue, Yellow, and Red”, from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. This innovative concept incorporates Mondrian's iconic color palette into delightful desserts, paying a tasteful tribute to his art.

THE ARTIFACT

Composition with Blue, Yellow, and Red

Renowned for his iconic paintings featuring simple geometric shapes in red, blue, yellow, and black, Mondrian was a pivotal figure in the Neoplasticism movement. His easily recognizable artworks continue to capture the hearts of many.

Our Rhapsody of Modernism theme celebrates pioneering modern art icons like Piet Mondrian, who pushed the boundaries of art into abstraction. This theme brings the dynamism of geometries, colors, and avant-garde spirit from the gallery to everyday life, infusing artistry into daily expressions.
