Collaborating with ARTiSTORY, A2V Hobbycraft launched this DIY project showcasing Vincent van Gogh's iconic "Sunflowers" and Katsushika Hokusai's "The Great Wave" on a range of fabric products, stationery, paint-by-numbers project, and puzzles.
In this innovative project, Hobbycraft aimed to ignite creativity in art enthusiasts of all levels by offering DIY projects inspired by famous artworks like van Gogh's "Sunflowers" and Hokusai's "The Great Wave," among a number of artworks.
In 2023, ARTiSTORY's partnership with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and other cultural institutions made it possible for A2V to gain access to the paintings.
The final products of this collaboration include fabric bolts and five-packs of fat quarters adorned with Van Gogh's "Sunflowers" and Hokusai's "The Great Wave." Crafters can incorporate these fabrics into various projects, from quilting and sewing to home decor and accessories. The collection, aptly named "Masterpiece Fabrics," invites individuals to explore their creativity and bring a touch of artistic flair into their everyday lives.
