The National Gallery houses one of the finest collections of paintings in the world. The collection has over 2,300 works including some of the greatest paintings ever created.
All major traditions of Western European painting are represented from the artists of late medieval and Renaissance Italy to the French Impressionists. As well as running the Gallery's restaurants and shops, in Trafalgar Square and online, the trading arm of the Gallery also publishes books, license images and hire spaces. All to help the National Gallery look after these masterpieces for today and for generations to come.
